To make the Poker Directory as useful as possible, we have produced the following Submission Guidelines. Please read these rules before submitting your website to save your time and ours.
Our editors reserve the right to edit, delete or reject any submission that does not adhere to these guidelines satisfactorily and to ensure it fits into the best category.
Tips for a successful listing with maximum exposure
- You can submit a website without logging in, but it makes it easier for you to change your listing and you can rate sites if you create a free profile.
- You must link to our partner site and keep the link up for as long as we link to you to validate the 3-way linking.
- Pick the category that is most relevant to your business/website. If a suitable category does not exist, suggest one.
- Don’t try and fool our editors. These guys are Poker Gurus and will notice if you try and beat the system. Your submission may also get rejected if you annoy our experts!
- Write a descriptive Title and Description – imagine that you are a potential customer browsing for a website – what would you look for?
- Use correct English to describe your site and check your grammar and speling!
- Don't stuff your title and description with keywords - they will either be deleted, or your submission will be rejected.
We only accept websites that
- are Poker related or offer Poker services
- are complete and functional and not under construction
- meet our high quality standards and we deem useful to the Poker community
- have English descriptions (website can be in any language, although the review process may take longer)
- not merely affiliate sites of FFA lists
We do not accept websites
- that are specifically created for Search Engines, advert-only content or affiliate promotions
- with technologies (e.g. popup windows) that interfere with the main content of the website
- with plagiarised or mirrored content (e.g. the same site with different URLs), or duplicate website submissions
- without a regular and correct URL (IP addresses are invalid) or sites that redirect to other websites
- with broken links or incomplete content, or poor design
The following content is not allowed and will be removed
- Adult websites or sites containing content of a blatant sexual nature
- Websites containing libel, child pornography, materials violating the copyright
- Websites containing propaganda of hatred, violence or fraud
- Websites containing racist or sexist material
- Websites advertising illegal products such as warez, weapons, drugs or items harmful to society
